RCC Dual Enrollment Description
Arlington High School students can enroll in college courses through our partnership Riverside City College while they are still enrolled in high school. This program is free to students and the college courses can earn both high school graduation credits and college credits at the same time. Many courses can also meet A-G admission requirements and are transferable to the University of California and the Cal State University. A “Transfer Focus Dual Enrollment Cord” is awarded to students who have completed two or more college courses with a C grade or better by the end of their first semester of their senior year.

RCC Fast Track Nursing Description
Arlington High School Students can join our RCC Fast Track Nursing Program to complete the prerequisites for Riverside City College’s (RCC) Registered Nursing (RN) Program. The program begins in the spring semester of 9th grade and continues throughout 12th grade. When students complete the sequence of courses, they will be eligible for guaranteed admission to RCC’s Registered Nursing Program. The program is free and students are provided RUSD transportation for the in-person lectures and lab meetings at RCC. A “Nursing Fast Track Dual Enrollment Cord” is awarded to students who successfully complete seven prerequisite courses with a C grade or better with an emphasis on Registered Nursing.
