Branches of Cheer

  1. Sideline (Summer + Fall+ Winter) 
  • Cheering at various sporting events.
  • Tryout Required (in Spring Semester for the following school year)
  • Performances at various school and community events.
  1. Traditional Competitive Cheer (Winter)
  • Travel to various competitions in Southern California
  • Sideline Members are the only athletes eligible to try out for TCC. 
  • Competitions begin in  November and end with Nationals in February.
  • 6 Regional Competitions and 1 Nationals 
  1. STUNT (Spring)
  • CIF sanctioned sport. 
  •  Compete against other high schools in their league.
  • Only Sideline Members are the only athletes eligible to try out. 
  • Matches range from 1-2 per week throughout the season
